Video: State Center developer fires back with lawsuit

A Baltimore developer claims in a lawsuit that Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is looking to move 3,500 state jobs out of the city. State Center LLC filed the lawsuit Tuesday in an effort to get the planned redevelopment of the state office complex back on track. The project has been on the drawing board since 2005, but Hogan pulled the plug in December and sued the developer. Now, the developer is firing back. The plan was to redevelop the state office complex in Baltimore and replace the aging buildings with a mixed-use site. It would have provided a grocery store, housing and new office space.
