Improving the curb appeal of your home is a key part of ensuring that you get the best value for your home when you put it on the market. Additionally, you get to enjoy your beautiful house after you finish improving it. However, improving the curb appeal of your home isn’t easy, but you can use these tips as a guide to help you.
Renew Your Deck and Driveway
One of the major parts of curb appeal for any house is the driveway, deck, and patio. These areas take up a lot of the visual space of your home, so making sure they look new and well-maintained is a big boost to your curb appeal. Look at resurfacing your driveway and cleaning your deck and patio to make them look new.
Repaint Your Home
Paint is one of the biggest indicators that your home isn’t up to par, as it’ll chip and discolor over time. This will harm your curb appeal and reduce sale prices if you leave it as is. You should try to repaint your home so that it looks fresh for the new buyers. Additionally, you can change the paints to better suit your home’s theme if necessary.
Focus on Your Entryway
The entryway of your home is the centerpiece of your curb appeal, so it should draw all the attention of onlookers. There are many ways you can draw attention to your front door and make it the main focus, such as reframing it or changing the materials.
Work on Your Yard
If you’re looking to improve your home’s curb appeal, then you need to have a garden you can be proud of. A healthy and beautiful front garden and yard will make your whole home seem alive. This is a great way to boost your curb appeal and enjoy some color as you walk out of your house.
These are the best methods to improve your home and help it reach new levels of appeal. While there are other methods you can use, these will make your home look and feel great in comparison to its old self.

The video message was played at the opening of the Partnerships Day (Ottawa, Canada, 22 April 2024).
---
In March 2022, at the resumed fifth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-5.2), a historic resolution was adopted to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment.
The resolution (5/14) requested the Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) to convene an Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) to develop "the instrument," which is to be based on a comprehensive approach that addresses the full life cycle of plastic, including its production, design and disposal.
The INC began its work during the second half of 2022, with the ambition to complete the negotiations by the end of 2024. The first session of the INC (INC-1) took place in Punta del Este, Uruguay from 28 November to 2 December 2022, followed by a second session (INC-2) from 29 May to 2 June 2023 in Paris, France, and a third session (INC-3) from 13 to 19 November 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya. The fourth session (INC-4) will take place from 23 to 29 April 2024 in Ottawa, Canada.

BBC News Video: UN demands investigation of “mass graves” at Gaza hospitals | BBC News
The UN's human rights chief has said he is "horrified" by the destruction of Gaza's Nasser and al-Shifa hospitals and the reports of "mass graves" being found at the sites after Israeli raids.
Volker Türk called for independent investigations into the deaths.
Palestinian officials said they had exhumed 283 bodies at Nasser hospital, some with their hands tied. It is not clear how they died or when they were buried.
Israel's military said claims that it buried bodies there were "baseless".But it did say that during a two-week operation at the hospital in the city of Khan Younis in February, troops "examined" bodies buried by Palestinians "in places where intelligence indicated the possible presence of hostages".

The horses, one of which was covered in blood, caused chaos as they roamed the city centre and collided with vehicles, including a double-decker bus and taxi.
They initially became spooked by loud construction during a routine military exercise in Belgravia, the Army said.
Officers said the horses had been recovered and returned to camp.

ODN Video: Terrifying Moment Russian Missile Collapses Ukrainian TV Tower
This is the moment a 240-metre television tower in Ukraine broke in half and collapsed into the ground.
Local officials said the tower fell after a Russian airstrike hit Kharkiv.
Ukrainian President Zelensky said the attack was “an intimidation to make the terror noticeable to the whole city” and an attempt to limit Kharkiv’s “communication and access to information”.
Some experts predict that Russia is edging towards a renewed ground offensive against Kharkiv.
It’s not the first time Russia has struck the TV tower, the first time being in March 2022 just after the war began.
But Kharkiv has seen an increase in attacks in the last month and its shortage in air defence supplies has led President Zelensky to call for more funding and aid to help support his country.
