The 2020 NFL season, Henry was the league's top scorer in passing yards and touchdowns thanks to his impressive rushing performance earning him the nickname "King Henry." Each year's Madden NFL cover is a great opportunity to give some popular football stars even more exposure. In recent years , stars like Terrell Owens, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson have appeared on the cover of the series' annual publications. EA Job Listing Suggests Madden Might Be Coming To Switch
Madden NFL used to be a regular feature on Nintendo platforms However, we've not seen it for nearly 10 years since Madden NFL 13 on Wii U. EA is still offering updates every year for FIFA (even when they're "legacy editions"), EA previously declared that they wouldn't launch it on Switch at the time of 2018. However, a recent job listing suggested Madden might finally be arriving.
Doctre81 on YouTube found the job description "Online Software Engineer (C++ - Madden" back in November of 2020. For the requirements of the job one of the sections asks for 2 years of experience working with "Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo game consoles". That might not sound too impressive but in the past, EA job advertisements haven't listed Nintendo within their criteria.
EA could be considering possible releases. It's important to keep in mind that in June 2020, EA confirmed it would launch seven Switch games over the 12-month period. June 2022 is just couple of months away, and we've had six games confirmed since then which includes Apex Legends this week.
This leaves one more game to go, but considering Madden's release calendar, EA could potentially be waiting until the inevitable Madden NFL 22 - as rather than a Madden NFL 22 port - because they usually release in cheap Mut 22 coins August. Either way, let's just hope that this isn't a new legacy edition, eh?
