First thing to be aware of is that this is an exploit/workaround, this method is only available to players who are starting on a brand-new version of the game.

 

The reason is, to get that Curry Slide animation, players must design their ideal design and upload it into the build tester feature. However, players can choose their overall, Badges and their Jump Shot from a short list of pre-programmed animations, the game randomly provides players with dancing animations to play.

 

As such, players have noticed that if you are in the tester, sometimes it will allow you to perform the Curry Slide. To determine if you can do the Curry Slide in the build tester, or are able to perform the movement in general simply press either the RT and R2 button on your controller and then flick your right hand diagonally ball hand.

 

If you have the Curry Slide Animation from the first try, quit out of the tester and start your MyCareer. The animation will remain with your player as long you don't modify or alter the "Normal" Size-Up Escape Package that's set in your MyPlayer's playmaking animations slot. If you don't have Curry Slide Animation available in Build Tester, simply leave and come back to attempt again.
