General Motors is eliminating 74 jobs at its plant at 1000 Lexington Ave., effective June 2. Dan Maloney, president of United Auto Workers Local 1097, which represents more than 600 plant workers, said sluggish electric vehicle sales and the relocation of a manufacturing line to Mexico were to blame.
