That brought her to the sports medicine experts at Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network. Her team of physical therapists and her primary care sports medicine physician, Dr. Mo Emam, helped her address the cause of her knee pain and regain strength to comfortably run. After exhausting all non-surgical approaches, Dr. Emam performed a hydrodissection of her knee, which gave her more mobility and more range of motion.
