Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and President Joe Biden are urging those who have been ordered to leave to evacuate now. President Biden says it is a matter of life and death. President also canceled a trip overseas to monitor the hurricane response. President Biden travels to Milwaukee to announce an EPA rule setting a 10-year deadline for cities to replace lead pipes. In the presidential campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris, Democratic nominee, does a flurry of interviews… including ABC's The View, and Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), Republican Vice-Presidential nominee, holds a rally in Detroit. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu makes an appeal in a video message to the people of Lebanon to rise and oppose Hezbollah. White House is asked about journalist Bob Woodward's new book which quotes President Biden swearing when talking about Prime Minister Netanyahu. Former Rep. Dave Hobson (R-OH) has died at age 87. He served 18 years in the House.
