The hazardous weather created difficult driving conditions that resulted in multiple vehicle collisions and slide-offs, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office said. The sheriff’s office said the truck hit two vehicles, one belonging to the Comstock Fire Department and the other to Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office. Photos from police show the extent of the damage from the crash. The video shows the fire crew running, with one of them knocked to the ground. No injuries were reported, however, and police warned drivers to use extreme caution in the severe weather. "We urge everyone to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary during severe winter weather," Sheriff Rick Fuller said. "If you must be on the road, please use extreme caution, reduce your speed, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
