For all you Hue die hards, posting this for awareness since it's currently out of stock on Philips' own site.
This is the long-awaited 3rd generation Hue Bridge with many significant upgrades that's been rumoured and leaked for the past few months that was officially announced in IFA 2025 [theverge.com]. The main big features include a soft limit of 150+ lights/50+ accessories, 500 scenes, faster response times, and the exclusive MotionAware feature that allows your Zigbee bulbs to act as motion detectors (utilizing a wireless network sensing spec [theverge.com] of the Zigbee protocol). Quality-of-life upgrades include the ability to use WiFi (which I'd only recommend if you don't have a real choice for placement) and the fact that it's USB-C powered. Yes, you can also migrate your old bridge to the new one and multi-hub migration is apparently scheduled for sometime later this year.
