With support from @EUcrisisresponse, the World Health Organization evacuated Adam along with 16 other child patients to Italy for specialized treatment. Fifty-two companions traveled with them. Over 10,000 people in Gaza require medical evacuation abroad. WHO calls on more countries to accept patients and urges the immediate scale-up of medical evacuations through all possible routes — including the restoration of referral pathways to the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
