He moved to Uganda in 2019 where he was introduced to the Nyege Nyege Collective, a Uganda-based group that releases underground music and organizes music festivals. Uganda is the largest refugee-hosting country in Africa, with over 1.8 million refugees and asylum seekers, mainly from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan and South Sudan.
