Secretary of State Anthony Blinken meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, telling him China needs to reduce its support of Russia's defense industry or face consequences from the U.S. They also discussed Chinese policy on the economy and trade. Secretary Blinken at a news conference is also asked about the pro-Palestinian protests at many universities and college in the United States. We will hear from two governors about campus protests in their states – Florida's Ron DeSantis (R) and California's Gavin Newsom (D). In Campaign 2024, President Joe Biden does an interview with SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern in which he said he once thought of killing himself when his first wife and baby daughter were killed, and that he is willing to debate his likely presidential reelection campaign opponent Donald Trump.
