A year ago a shooting at a school in the state capital Nashville that left three nine-year-olds dead sparked protests in the legislative building. Democrat representative Justin Jones, megaphone in hand, backed the protestors' calls for tighter controls and was then expelled. This week in Tennessee a gun law was passed, but not one that makes it more difficult to carry weapons.
